Rock Climbing Leave No Trace Awareness Course

Description

As Rock Climbers, it is important that we minimize our impact to the spectacular areas we climb. We will learn the seven Leave No Trace principles and specific considerations for Rock Climbers.

Some of the topics we will discuss: understanding local regulations, bringing appropriate equipment for your climb, understand where the best place to stage your gear and belay areas, and being considerate how to minimize impact of waste products. This is a experiential course. We will be engaged in various activities and research regulations of some of the local areas and famous areas across the country. We will prepare you for your next adventure!

It is imperative that we understand how we can enjoy this amazing activity while minimizing our impact on the land for others to enjoy.

Each participant receives a Rock Climbing LNT book and card.
