Wilderness First Responder (WFR)

The Wilderness First Responder Course is 72-80 hours long and is a comprehensive and in-depth look at the standards and skills of dealing with: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies and Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies. All WFR students must have a current CPR card or will need to take an Adult CPR/AED course in an evening session. (This course includes 72-80 hours in-class sessions, out of class reading, and a final exam)
March 22-30, 2018 – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Evening classes 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
October 16, 18, 19, 23, 25, 30
November 1, 6, 8, 13, 15
Weekend Classes 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
These class is designed for working professionals. Attendees must attend all sessions.
Unity College students and employees: $550 (Includes course fees and books)
Non-Unity College Student: $650 (Includes course fees and books)
Unity College campus and classroom
